Always After; Arrogant, childish, greedy and boyish. A can be wonderful and timid and calm at times but he is a megalomaniac, always wanting to be the best in everything and anyway, hungry for power and to have authority.
He is also prone to nervous breakdowns and depression, if he can't do or get something right then he breaks away piece by piece and so the only really cure for this is to up his self-esteem whether it'll be through threatening, blackmailing, flirting because these breakdowns can also make him go violent and vicious and cry or simply yell at himself for failing so horribly and sink into depression. Along with his bursts of insanity he can be sadistic, cruel and hateful, intimidating and do anything to do what he can to get what he wants and the way he wants it.
A is very intelligent and will usually correct those who are wrong just to show off and to prove that he is better then them. Apart from that, he tries to act like a big brother to those he feels he is loyal to but if they do not return that feeling back then they are known to be a worm and nothing at all and A will push that down on them. After the death of B he has felt a loss of identity and that he can usually be shattered easily, but of course when all is well and good he will give payback in possibly the most painful way possible.
Also he has gained paranoia over the years and sometimes he just wants to cling to someone, anything at all, to feel some sort of sick reassurance - and everything he has to hear has to boost his ego because he is obsessed with the feeling of being wanted and needed and that there is no one in the world but him alone and that is a scary thought. He is sensitive about a lot of things, if he does mess up somehow then he will possibly go insane for a short amount of time and tear up everything in his path and want to destroy just to make himself feel better. |

Always After is short, about 5'4-5 and has broad shoulders and a frame that is slightly slim but a bit lean at the same time. His hair is in a mess and his eyes are violet/blue, he has an innocent childish look to him, expressive to say and delicate with a few sharp features to him. His clothing style is modified suits, pinstripes fitted suits with leather belts around his legs and arms or usually a black turtleneck shirt with a double-dressed military coat that trails behind him with leather pants, chains dangling with the pockets but also he wears a few dark coloured ribbons around his arms, wrists and neck depending on how stressed/frustrated/pissed off he is. He wears large shoes that are about 2 inches high as he hates being short and that can somewhat be a sensitive subject to him. Also, A has a tattoo of L on the left side of his neck which he usually looks at in the mirror whenever he can to remind himself that he is L and not slipping away.

A/After Always (OU) - Stupidity and learnt that his counterpart is a fool that committed-suicide. Disgust, disappointment and absolute hate with a deep desire to bring him down and crush him everyway possible.
B/Beyond Birthday (OU) - Odd feelings of hate with deep lingering and twisted respect. AU!A's first victim which resulted in death and would not mind doing it again and again until B loves him.
L Lawliet (OU) - Disrespect, feels much more superior then him and thus mocks him whenever he gets the chance, finds L a bore and if AU!A had anything he even liked for L then it would be his lying.
Mello (AU) - Possibly the only person which AU!A even considers liking. Reminds him of Mello in his own world and will do anything to make Mello be B's replacement and new successor for himself.
Alex (OU) - Friend, mate, little brother, droog. AU!A feels connected with Alex as though they are the same person as they live in the same room and have the same thoughts about the same things.
